The process of searching is always interrupted by all sorts of "false images", and the object of 2920 days and nights of painstaking searching is the Other who is never present.

Surrounded by looks from all directions in the process of searching, this encircling "look" is a gaze that prioritises the presence of the subject, but this presence is fantasised by the subject, a gaze that is indeed missing, but at the same time omnipresent.
